Summer storage is just that – storage for the summer.
We bring our large, heavy duty plastic bins to campus to be packed and then come back to pick everything being stored up. We put it in our climate-controlled storage facility and then once the summer is over, bring everything to the new residence.

Ship ahead is mainly for our incoming freshman. However, we do offer this service to current Elon students and our summer storage customers.
Ship all of your packages to us and we get them to you when you get to Elon. Seriously, it’s that easy!

We offer moving services for those of you who won’t need storage through us. This can be because your student is moving from one residence to another or because their dorm situation isn’t working out.
Just like summer storage, the student doesn’t have to reside on campus to use this service.

Elon Summer Storage is a simple dorm to dorm storage solution. We offer the convenience of picking up, storing and delivering back the items you don’t want to take home with you over the summer. We provide high quality service to make the transition of moving in and out of Elon as easy as possible. We want the transition into summer and back into the fall semester as seamless as possible for our customers.
We are a veteran family owned company who proudly supports our active-duty and veteran families. Ask us about our military and first responder discounts.
The dimensions of our bins are 26″ x 20″ x 17″. A good frame of reference is they will fit a microwave and have a little extra space.
YES! We will pick up and move to any housing that is in the Elon, Burlington and Gibsonville area.
We take all of your large items. ALL OF THEM! We will store it just the same as any of your other items that are too large to fit into a bin. (Any additional items outside of the purchased package are $25/item).
NO! We pride ourselves on our upfront pricing and not sending you a surprise bill in August. The ONLY time you will ever have additional charges is if you store more than your package allotted for. For example: if the student calls for an extra bin while packing, we will be provide the bin and charge the $25 fee for the bin.

You absolutely don’t have to pay for the in room service. If you choose not to, you will be expected to get your bins and oversized items to the outside of your dorm or apartment.
If you’re not sure about the in room service right now, no worries at all! You can always go back and add that on at anytime. Even right before we come to pick up your items!
We are happy to help you ship anything home that you would like. We don’t charge for shipping, but we will send an invoice for the amount of shipping charged to us by the shipper.
With your written permission, we will access your bins and send anything to you that you would like.
If you choose not to be present, we will need to be given access to your room. It’s up to you whether we gain access through a roommate or friend who has access to your room. We must be accompanied by an Elon student or parent regarding any on campus housing.
You can also leave your items and bins outside of your residence and we will pick them up.
YES! Buddy Packages are designed for two students regardless of where each of you live. Just let us know how you would like to split it up and we will drop off the bins accordingly.
Technically yes, but please know that we can only assign one students name to the package. We will only be dropping off, picking up and delivering to the student who is listed on the package purchase.
You can call or text us if you need an extra and we will bring it to you. Bins are first come first serve and if we run out, we will provide a moving box or similar container for you.
We go above and beyond to make sure your items aren’t lost. On our bins, we have a sticker with your name written on it when we drop them off with you. We also have each bin barcoded so that we can track each bin. For your oversized items, we provide a sticker with your name on it to label it for you.
